J&B Custom Woodcrafts & Laser Etching is owned and operated by Jason Rice. Jason is an active duty Marine stationed at New River Air Station in Jacksonville, NC. He found his love for woodworking in high school and continued with it as a hobby until August of 2006 when his dreams became reality and he opened his first shop.
While on his second deployment in Iraq, Jason flew flags for his grade school teachers and their current students. When he came home, he ordered flag boxes for each of the flags he flew. When the flag boxes arrived, they were very poor quality. So he decided that he would craft a higher quality product himself. That started J&B Custom Woodcrafts & Laser Etching, and with commitment and drive he continues to work hard everyday to make each project perfect and unique. His passion for woodworking has continued to grow along with his creativity in each project he completes.
