J&B Custom Woodcrafts & Laser Etching is owned by Jason Rice. Jason is an active duty Marine stationed at New River Air Station in Jacksonville, NC. Jason found his love for woodworking in high school and continued as a hobby until August of 2006 when his dreams became reality and he opened his first shop.
While in Iraq on his second deployment, Jason flew flags for his grade school teachers and their current students. When Jason came home, he ordered flag boxes for each of the flags he flew. When the flag boxes arrived, they were very poor quality. Jason decided that he could craft a higher quality product himself. That started J&B Custom Woodcrafts & Laser Etching. Jason's passion for woodworking has continued to grow along with his creativity in each project he completes.
